What does my ticket include?
A 4-hour session with a 2-hour all you can eat American BBQ feast. Seating and access to the bar included. Drinks are not included.
When does the BBQ start?
The BBQ feast starts 1 hour after your session begins and runs for 2 hours.
Can I eat as much as I want?
Yes. Unlimited servings during the 2-hour BBQ service. Please take only what you can eat.
Are drinks included?
No. Drinks are purchased separately from the bar. No BYO.
Can I take food home?
No. All food must be eaten on site. No takeaways allowed.
What if I have allergies or dietary requirements?
Please speak with the pitmasters or event staff on the day and they’ll guide you where possible.
All meats are gluten-free. Most sides and sauces are also gluten-free. Please ask the team if you’re unsure.
This is a BBQ lovers event and there are no vegetarian or vegan options
Are kids allowed?
Yes, Meat @ the Beach is a family-friendly event. Kids aged 0–4 enter free with a supervising adult (maximum 1 child per adult). Kids aged 5–15 require a kids ticket. All kids must be supervised.
Are Dogs Allowed?
As much as we love dogs, they won’t be allowed inside the festival area.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the event is wheelchair accessible.
What happens if it rains?
The event usually goes ahead in mixed weather. In severe weather, ticket holders will be contacted.
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. For ticket changes, contact Flicket at support@flicket.co.nz.
