The Ultimate guide to making the most of oktoberfest
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes entry to Morepork Oktoberfest, a limited edition 600ml ceramic stein, live music throughout the day and access to the full festival experience. Food and drinks are available to purchase from our bars and food vendors.
Do I need to bring ID?
Yes. This is a strictly R18 event. Valid ID is required for entry. No ID, no entry.

Is re-entry allowed?
Yes. Re-entry is allowed. Tickets will be rescanned and a wristband issued.
What time does the event start and finish?
Gates open at 12:00 pm. Last call for alcoholic drinks is at 9:00 pm. The gate closes at 10:00 pm.
Will there be parking available?
Yes, parking is available at Kumeu Showgrounds on a first-come, first-served basis. Gold coin donation.
What if it rains?
The event will go ahead rain or shine, so bring your raincoat and gumboots. But please leave those umbrellas at home!
Bars are located inside permanent sheds and marquees are provided. Expect grass and possible mud in wet weather.
Only severe weather or unforeseen circumstances may result in cancellation.
If the event is cancelled, all ticket holders will be contacted directly and updates will be shared on our social media channels.

Can I bring my own alcohol and food?
No, outside alcohol or food is not permitted at the event.
Should I bring Cash?
There are no ATMs on site. Please bring cash or use Eftpos. There will only be ONE CASH BAR. All other bars will be EFTPOS ONLY.
Is seating provided?
Yes. Seating is provided across the venue on a first come, first served basis. You are also welcome to bring picnic chairs or blankets.
What should i know about the campsites?
All campers must have a valid Morepork Oktoberfest ticket to stay.
Check in and check out
Friday: 4pm to 7pm, No entry after 7pm.
Saturday: 8am to 10am, No pack in after 10am.
Check out is by 10am on Sunday.
Your campsite
Each campsite is approximately 7m x 7m and is unpowered.
Sites are allocated on a first come, first served basis when you arrive.
Tents, caravans and campervans are all welcome, provided they fit within your allocated campsite.
One vehicle is permitted per campsite. Additional vehicles must be parked in the general parking area.
If your setup extends beyond your allocated 7m x 7m campsite, you may be required to purchase an additional campsite.
Alcohol
This is a strictly no BYO alcohol event within the restricted area. All alcohol must be purchased on site.
Camping etiquette
Please respect your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.
Leave no trace
Please keep your campsite tidy. This is a pack in, pack out campground, so take all your rubbish with you when you leave.
Safety
Please don't leave valuables unattended. Morepork BBQ is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

No, please plan accordingly. We highly suggest booking in a ride share service.
will there be any drinks besides beer?
There will be beer, wine, RTDs and non alcoholic beverages available.
Can I get multiple drinks at a time?
You can get 2 drinks at a time.
Are tickets refundable?
No, all tickets are final sale and refunds will not be given.
Can we bring food into the campsite?
Yes, food can be brought into the campsite but not into the festival.
